Before vacation mode, taking a week off meant either manually editing your weekly hours and remembering to switch them back, or leaving your page open and fielding bookings you'd have to cancel and apologize for later. Neither is what a vacation is for. Vacation mode blocks a date range off in one action and restores your normal hours automatically once it ends.
What it actually does
Pick a start and end date, and your booking page shows no availability for that whole range, on every session type at once. It sits on top of your regular weekly hours rather than replacing them, so there's nothing to reconstruct when you're back; your normal schedule just resumes on the date you set.
How it's different from a single date override
Schedulera already let you block a specific date for a holiday or give it different hours one day at a time. Vacation mode is that same mechanism aimed at a whole range instead of a single day, the right tool once you're talking about a week or two rather than one afternoon off.
It doesn't touch what's already booked
Turning on vacation mode only closes new availability for the range you set; it doesn't cancel sessions already on the books that happen to fall inside it. If something is already scheduled during your trip, you'll want to reschedule or cancel that one directly, the same way you would any other booking.
