Schedulera's own confirmation screen is fine as a default, but the moment right after someone books is also one of the best pieces of attention you'll ever get from them, and a generic "you're booked" screen wastes it. A booking type can now redirect the guest to any URL you choose the instant they confirm, instead.
What to actually put there
- •A prep page: what to bring, what to expect, a short video to watch before a coaching session or consultation.
- •An upsell or related offer: a resource, a course, a second session type worth knowing about.
- •Your own branded thank-you page if the default confirmation screen feels off-brand next to the rest of your site.
- •A tracking pixel or ad-conversion page, if you're running paid traffic to your booking link and need the confirmation to register as a conversion.
What still happens even with a redirect set
The redirect only changes what the guest sees in their browser immediately after booking. The confirmation email, the calendar invite, and the host notification all still go out exactly as before, so nothing about the actual booking record changes, only the page the guest lands on next.
Where this fits with the rest of the funnel
This is the same instinct behind what belongs on the booking page itself, just moved one step later: the conversation with a guest doesn't have to end the second they book. If your practice already sends a pre-session prep email or a follow-up sequence, a custom redirect is the same idea, just delivered immediately instead of by email later.
Setting it up
Open a session type's editor and add a redirect URL under its advanced settings. Leave it blank and guests see the standard confirmation, same as always, nothing changes unless you set one. Start free and decide what the first thing a new booking sees actually is.
