Booking approval
Turn on approval for any session type. Requests hold the slot and wait in your dashboard until you approve, choosing the meeting location, or decline.

Turn it on per session type
Flip “requires approval” on for any session type. Everything else keeps booking instantly.
02
Requests land as pending
A guest picks a slot like normal. It holds the time and shows up in your dashboard as pending, no calendar event yet.
03
You approve or decline
Approve and choose Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or in person on the spot. Decline with an optional note for the guest.
04
Confirmation goes out on approval
Only once you approve does the calendar event, meeting link, and confirmation email get created.
Pairs well with session types and automated reminders.
Screen requests, not just calendars
Useful for consultations, interviews, or any session you want a first look at before it's locked in.
Get started freeDoes approval slow down every booking?
No. It's opt-in per session type. Turn it on for the sessions you want to screen and leave everything else booking instantly.
What does the guest see while a request is pending?
A “request received” confirmation with no meeting link yet, since none exists until you approve. Once you approve, they get the normal confirmation with the link.
Can I pick a different meeting location than the session type's default?
Yes. The approval dialog preselects the session type's usual location but lets you change it, Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or in person, before confirming.
Does this work for recurring or round-robin sessions?
Not yet. Approval currently applies to single, fixed-host session types. Recurring and round-robin bookings stay instant for now.
