Hosting
Approval is opt-in per session type. Once it's on, requests wait in your dashboard instead of booking instantly.
Turn on approval for a session type
Open the session type's settings and enable “requires approval.”

A guest who books that session type holds the slot as pending, nothing is confirmed yet.

Every pending request for you shows here with Approve and Decline actions.
Approve, choosing the location
Approving opens a dialog to pick Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or in person, then creates the calendar event and sends the guest their confirmation.
Or decline with a reason
Declining frees the slot and lets you leave an optional note for the guest, sent with their “not confirmed” email.
