Run a scheduling poll

A poll borrows its length and location from a session type, so every option you offer is time you're actually free.

How do I run a scheduling poll in Schedulera?

Go to Polls → New poll, pick a session type, choose 2 to 12 real open time slots, optionally invite voters by email, then close the poll once one option wins so Schedulera can turn it into a real booking.

Steps

Open Polls → New poll
In your dashboard, go to Polls and click “New poll.” Pick the session type the poll should book once it closes.

Choose the times to offer
Pick 2 to 12 slots from your real, open availability, shown day by day in your timezone.

Add voters, or just share the link
Optionally add invitee emails and Schedulera sends the voting link and tracks who's still missing, or skip this and share the link yourself.

Set optional rules
Add a voting deadline, hide who voted for what, or cap how many people can pick the same slot.

Close the poll
Pick the winning option, or let the deadline do it. Schedulera rechecks the slot is still free and creates the booking automatically.

Tips

A poll needs at least one active session type first, since it borrows the duration and location from one.
Turn on “hide participants” if you'd rather show only vote counts, not who voted for what.
