Some holds on your calendar are worth keeping loosely, open to being bumped if something more important comes in for that same time.

How does priority-based flexible availability work in Schedulera?

Set a priority, low, medium, or high, on a booking type; a higher-priority link can book over a slot already held by a lower-priority one instead of treating it as a conflict, and the displaced hold is automatically resolved.

Open a booking type's availability settings
Priority is set per booking type, alongside its other rules.

Choose a priority
Low, medium, or high. Higher-priority bookings can displace a hold made by a lower-priority one.

A guest books the lower-priority link first
Their slot is held, but flagged as displaceable by anything higher priority.

A higher-priority booking comes in for the same time
Schedulera books over the hold instead of showing the slot as unavailable.

The displaced hold gets resolved automatically
A background sweep reconciles it, so you don't have to manually clean up a bumped hold.

Tips

Give a booking type low priority when you're fine losing that slot to something more important, an internal sync you'd move for a client call, for example.
Two links at the same priority never displace each other, only a strictly higher priority can bump a hold.

Does the guest who gets displaced know what happened?+

The slot is reconciled automatically; the original hold is resolved rather than left as a silent conflict.

Can two low-priority bookings compete for the same slot?+
