Add custom intake questions to a booking form

An intake question is anything you want to know before a session starts, without a separate form or a follow-up email.

How do I add custom intake questions to a Schedulera booking form?

Open a session type's settings, add up to 10 custom fields as text, textarea, dropdown, or checkbox, mark any as required, and they appear on the booking form right alongside name and email.

Steps

Open a session type's settings
Intake questions are configured per session type, so each one can ask something different.

Add a field
Choose text, a longer textarea, a dropdown with your own options, or a checkbox.

Mark it required or optional
A required field has to be filled in before the guest can complete the booking.

Save and preview
Open your booking page to see the field appear right after name and email.

Read the answers on the booking
Every response is attached to that booking, visible from your dashboard alongside the guest's details.

Tips

You can add up to 10 fields per session type, enough for a screening question or two without turning the form into a survey.
Use a dropdown when you want a clean, consistent answer instead of free text, what topic to cover, for example.
